Background

G-5 Supplement is a chemically defined, serum-free supplement based on Bernstein's G-5 formulation. It is recommended for the growth and expression of glial cells (normal and tumor) of astrocytic phenotype (astrocytes). G-5 Supplement is provided as a 100 × concentrate and is designed for use with Neurobasal Medium (Cat. No. PM151223). It may also be used with DMEM (Cat. No. PM150210), DMEM/F12 (Cat. No. PM150312), or other basal media.
