Background
Amino Acids are the basic unit of protein composition and also an important component of life. According to the cell's own ability to synthesize, amino acids can be divided into three categories: essential amino acids, semi-essential amino acids, and non-essential amino acids.
MEM non-essential amino acid solution (NEAA) contain L-alanine, L-glutamic acid, L-asparaginate, L-proline, L-aspartic acid, L-serine and glycine, can effectively improve the ratio of cells culture medium, reduce the side effect of non-essential amino acid production in cell culture, and promote cell proliferation and metabolism, which is one of the commonly used additives in cell culture.
